Nurse Davina received me after I had a partial hip replacement and my heart was in trouble, causing severe pain in my chest. Davina, immediately after I arrived on her ward, took aggressive action assisting the doctors and staff in calming me and overseeing that I got stabilized. She was right there for me during her shift keeping guard over me and giving me kind words of encouragement. Davina continued to be my nurse throughout my hospital stay until I was assigned out of her ward a few days later. I have been in other Banner hospitals (for ECT treatment) I recognize excellent and loving care by all, but the care that Nurse Davina gave me far surpasses anything I have expected before. She also was involved in helping staff pinpoint the need for a pacemaker that has allowed me to live a better and more productive life. This is a great nurse and my husband and family all feel as I do.
