Dawn was outstanding in caring for my little one, my husband, and myself. She always made sure that our wishes were being followed to the best of her abilities from our preferred feeding methods to us wanting to use a pacifier. We were on the unit for 2.5 days and kept getting bad news. When Dawn came in that night she could see we were visibly frustrated and asked what she could do to help. We explained our frustrations and Dawn stepped up to the plate and made sure all our questions were answered regarding our daughter's condition. She went above and beyond her call of duty to make sure that the three of us got the best care while she was on staff both that night and the night after. She was a blessing during our stay and we couldn't have asked for a better nurse.

Dawn is a resource to her peers and always takes a partnership student to cultivate our future nursing workforce. She frequently does relief charge and nursery and teaches our childbirth classes in her spare time. She is well respected by her peers, providers, and patients frequently mention her by name. She is a frequent high performer, a consistent and reliable staff member, and truly cares about the patient experience.
