Dawn was nominated because the love of teaching spilled over into the patient care setting. With her vast knowledge, she was able to help patients feel at ease and reduce anxiety about the unknowns. She is a very personable, soft-spoken, kind, and gentle lady who is able to connect with her patients. I was admitted for gallbladder issues and with her past experience with surgery, she has been VERY helpful and informative about my condition. She has even explained what was happening on the inside, which was very helpful and made me understand more! She is a great nurse and I am very glad that I got to have her during my stay.
