Dawn made me feel at ease, she gave me that support and understanding which helped me so much. I was told during my stay in the ward that it was serious, and I needed heart surgery which I was totally against having. Dawn was there with me each time when the doctors came, and she explained everything to me and gave me the reassurance and comfort I needed at this difficult time.
She was very patient with me, as well as my family, who were going through a terrible and emotional time. She showed them and myself incredible kindness and compassion and I know for sure she helped me and my family cope through this tough time. She gave me that peace in my heart and I fully trusted her, and her kindness and support helped me relax and remain calm.
