Dawn was amazingly caring and attentive during our stay at MGMC. When we would ask for something, she was ready with whatever we needed. She always gave us extra information above and beyond what we expected. She spent an hour with us one afternoon showing us the best way to breast-feed. It was very evident that she genuinely wanted to help. She only wanted the best for our daughter and was always attentive when asked for help and advice. Dawn was extremely professional and caring on every level. We are so pleased she was our nurse and she definitely made our stay amazing!

Dawn was browsing in the hospital gift shop and she was making small talk with a mother in the shop. This mother had a special needs child with her who was sweetly hugging a stuffed animal. The mother told her child that she had to put the stuffed animal back because she did not have money to buy it. Dawn secretly went to the cashier and gave $20.00 towards whatever the child wanted to buy in the shop. Dawn pleaded with the cashier not to tell the mother who had donated the money.

Today Dawn helped a patient who had given up her baby for adoption. This patient was here from out of town and had no place to stay while she was also studying to take a board exam for school. Dawn called her church and a family agreed to let her stay with them for 2 weeks.
