Dawn Hanna, RN

Dawn Hanna is the most selfless nurse I have ever met or worked with. Keeping patients safe and cared for is their passion; she shows it every shift. With every pediatric patient, she explains our care plan in a way that puts parents at ease. We had a pediatric patient on oxygen for the night and would not keep it in their nose. Dawn spent most of the shift running into that room to replace the nasal cannula and did it with a smile on her face the whole time. She explained to the parents what they were doing and why it was necessary. Waking patients up when they are already sleep-deprived is difficult, but Dawn is a calming presence. I will always strive to be a better nurse with her in mind. She truly has changed the way I view my workplace.
