Dawn Horvath, RN

I was at a doctor’s appointment with my PCP. She had recently been involved with a family member who was in our ICU with a GI Bleed. Dr. S knows that I am clin lead in the unit and wanted to recognize the amazing care that her loved one was given by Dawn. She said Dawn was professional, knowledgeable, and very compassionate. Dr. S had married into the family, so it was important that they all understood what was happening in order to make appropriate decisions. She said that Dawn was careful to include the family and explained things beautifully. Ultimately, the 93-year-old patient did pass away, but did so peacefully and comfortably. Dr. S said that she and the whole family felt that Dawn’s care was incomparable and very much appreciated. A Healer’s Touch sounds like a very appropriate description.
