Dawn is not only an amazing Vascular Access RN, but she is also a great educator and support system for her patients and colleagues. She came to help me place an IV on a patient who was off all of her medications for a gastric emptying study and was having a tough day. Dawn listened to all the patient's feelings and brought her comfort and hope. Dawn had a previously hysterical patient smiling and laughing by the end of an IV stick. She is exceptional!
