Dawn has, in short, been a stellar nurse. In long, here's why she's stellar: Dawn afforded empathy, compassion, respect, and most importantly dignity to a family I consider my own. Dawn treated the family with so much love, you would've thought it was her own family. Every interaction with Dawn was a ray of sunshine during the worst storm. Dawn paid for the daughter's lunch when she forgot her wallet, she made them laugh when she informed them of what the acronym 'BAB' really means, and when my friend would tell Dawn she loved her, Dawn would say she loved her too. Please let this be a reminder that you are appreciated and loved. You see a million patients and read a million charts, but you never reduced my friend to a room number. My friend has given so much love in her life, thank you for helping her receive it. Again, Dawn, thank you! My friend improved the lives of so many, and in her weakest moment, you improved hers.
