Dawn has been assigned to my husband for about 7 years. She displays her professionalism without fail in her cheerful, caring and encouraging approach - both from my husband and me (his everyday caregiver). She displayed a high degree of skill when my husband had abdominal surgery a number of years ago, and he required deep wound dressing changes. Dawn does thorough assessments and makes corrective actions or gives me or my husband instructions in the same. She might say "that's what she is hired to do - nothing outstanding there," but Dawn comes to our home with these skills that should not be taken for granted. She listens to our concerns and gives reassurance, comfort, guidance, good conversation and cheer consistently for years and years; "just doing her job!"
