Dawn had a patient that was homeless. It was very cold outside at the time. Shelter resources were provided to the patient, but the patient was concerned that if he arrived too late the shelter would not take him. Dawn knew the patient's concerns and diligently called the physicians to sign off so that the patient could be discharged in a timely manner. Dawn also called her daughter and asked her to go to the store and buy the patient a warm blanket in case he needed it for the shelter or to use outside. Dawn was very dedicated to this patient and he was very grateful.
