Dawn's professionalism, compassion, dedication, and friendship have made my treatments bearable. I, as a patient, have benefitted from her dedication to detail. One example is during one treatment, my blood pressure dropped to a dangerous level. Before I passed out, Dawn was there to save me. When I did pass out it was only for a few seconds because she took control and increased my fluids quickly, bringing me back. I appreciate everything she does to make me comfortable. And she does this for every Veteran she sees in dialysis. For that, I will always love her. As for me, I am a Vietnam Veteran who is on dialysis as one of my kidneys has shut down.
