From the moment I arrived after surgery, Dawn was absolutely amazing. The care and compassion she showed in helping me in and out of bed made me feel truly valued. She also took the time to connect with me personally-we bonded over both being mothers of three boys and my journey through nursing school. Despite having other patients, I never once felt overlooked; she was always present, attentive, and supportive. I typically hesitate to ask for help, but Dawn's keen attention to detail meant she noticed even the smallest things, like when I was itching. Without me having to say a word, she informed me that I had medication available and quickly provided it to make me comfortable. When I needed assistance to the restroom, she guided me through every step with care, ensuring my safety and dignity. As someone who works in healthcare, it can be difficult to feel vulnerable as a patient, but Dawn erased any feelings of embarrassment or fear.
