I am an exclusive patient at TriState Health for many reasons. But 6 years ago, my colon went south, and the old saying, "For the Grace of God Go Thee," and Dr. LeRoy Smith's guiding hands saved my life!! That's all it took. My wife and I transferred to TriState and have never been disappointed with our decision.

So, what brings me to nominating the whole crew at Day Surgery is this. I have been receiving antibiotic infusions 7 days a week. The women and men who work in this department are on the go from the time they get to work until surgeries and infusions peter out late afternoon, I suspect. They deal with all types of patients, personalities, and whatnot. The nurses are always concerned about each of their patients, and if a patient's nurse is not available, another nurse steps in to see if they can help!!! They are always pleasant and helpful, no matter their case load!! These nurses are as concerned for the medical procedures they are charged with to do, but they are always concerned with the patient's wellbeing overall start to finish.

Let's not forget who their Team Leader is: NATHAN. Nathan cared for me starting 3 years ago when I had a port put in and had to come once a month for a flush. He also helped with problems I was having. All I am glad for they promoted him to lead a great group of nurses.

Well, that's my story, and I hope others have the time to write you all about this GREAT team of nurses who uphold the TriState Patient Care Standards with a whole lot of heart!!

Thank you for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
