Dayna Strauss, RN

My Mom had triple bypass surgery and Dayna was our nurse the evening my Mom moved up to the CCU from the Operating Room. She also volunteered to pick up the morning shift the next day and was once again my Mom's nurse. She was very kind and compassionate to my Mom as well as my Dad and me.

She took her time to explain what all the IVs, drains, pumps, and monitors were being used for and what they were tracking. Before she did anything to or for my Mom, she explained what she was doing and why. It was obvious that she loved being a nurse and educating patients and their families so everyone was informed and felt comfortable with what was going on. We appreciate everything she did for us those first two days!
