Dean makes efforts to connect to each patient, making them feel comfortable and accepted. He is an amazing preceptor and it is obvious he loves teaching. His clinical knowledge is evidence-based and he is also continually working on researching the best, current nursing care. Additionally, he always comes to work with a positive attitude, encouraging his teammates and patients.

Dean is a great capstone preceptor ad facilitated my learning and ability to grow and practice as a student independently as possible. He also is always available to offer help to his coworkers when they need it and is the first one to turn on an alarm or monitor. He has a great rapport with his coworkers and the people he cares for.
