Dean was such a phenomenal role model and teacher. Every time we went in the patient's room or sat at the desk, Dean would ask me questions and test my knowledge of labor and delivery. I was with him during labor of a patient and it was just the two of us. He let me act as a "real nurse." I was watching the monitor and palpating contractions and it was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had in nursing school. Dean has made such an impact on my nursing career and I hope one day I can be as educational, compassionate, and as great a role model and nurse as Dean.
