DeAnna Edwards, RN

DeAnna came onto my son's case with a smile and a warm heart. What started as an overwhelming experience was made easier through her kindness and warmth as a person. Seeing her work with my son and being so gentle with him really made an impact on me because I can tell she truly loves the work that she does, and she's extremely good at what she does. Also, with her being a mother herself, she never once made me feel ridiculous or belittled for all my anxieties and worries I have being a momma. She never once hesitated to teach me anything when I would ask; every time I'd walk in to see my son (and I was there a lot), she would greet me with a smile and immediately update me on anything I had missed. I'm truly grateful for her signing on as my son's primary during his stay in the NICU, I wouldn't have it any other way.

She's an amazing person, and I believe the world should have more people like her. I don't think I will ever forget her or the way she cared for my little one for the rest of my life. My son and I are blessed to have met such an angel.
