This patient was a homeless person here in this community. He developed foot problems related to his situation. He stayed here for 45 days. He had no payer source and we were unable to find placement for him in a nursing home. He had no ID which was a huge stumbling block. After many days, calls, referrals and perseverance, Deanna was able to get him accepted to Highway 80 Mission. He was so excited. Thanks to Deanna's efforts, she was able to get him a wheelchair, special shoes and most importantly a place where he can be assured of food and shelter, and some hope for his future.
