Deanna is a long term nurse for many years in Home Health. Deanna has always been willing and able to precept all the new nurses coming into Home Health even when nurses were revolving in and leaving just as fast. Even in difficult times, Deanna has maintained a positive attitude with staff and is frequently mentioned in Patient Satisfaction surveys. Deanna goes above and beyond to provide great patient care as recently evidenced by her agreeing to see a patient in the hospital to switch the patient from the hospital equipment to the home DME infusion pump. This would allow ease of transfer to the home setting and maintain continuous TPN flow ordered. The transition did not go as easily as planned due to several discharge problems. Deanna stayed for several hours to assist as best she could to help the situation. Deanna is a shining example of someone who embodies the ASPIRE Values.
