Deanna is a fabulous RN and person. My dad was admitted to your hospital. She visited him in the ICU to regulate his insulin pump, finding out there was real issues with the pump. She trained the staff to work it as my dad couldn’t due to his medical issues. My dad spent over 3 weeks in your hospital. She checked on him every day. She immediately had a great connection with him and he looked forward to her visit. She even came in couple of times on her day off as he was having bad diabetic issues. My dad had a Doctor who took care of his diabetes but could never regulate him. She did in just days. She showed so much concern, compassion and just friendly care for him. My dad would smile when she came by. My whole family doesn't know what we would have done without her. She would take the time to talk with us all. Answer questions about his Diabetes we never knew. Her knowledge of this field is extraordinary. She is an absolute asset to your hospital. Her skills made my dad comfortable and not to worry about his medical matters and just allow us to enjoy the little time we all knew he had left. She was there to step in when I had problems with policy at the end. She personally reached out to the proper people to help me and my family through the difficult time of impending loosing of our dad. She obviously loves what she does and never afraid to put herself out for a patient and their family. “Great Lady” thank you for letting her in our life when we needed it most!
