DeAnna Walkington, BSN, RN, SANE-A

This was my son's third visit in less than two months to the ER. He was diagnosed with C Diff (3rd time), and it has been a journey. Since this started around the end of March, he has not had the best experiences in immediate care/hospitals. DeAnna spent time with him and motivated him to do things I would never have thought he would have done...like drink the contrast. He is very sensitive and has some sensory issues when it comes to eating/drinking. She made him laugh and smile and answered every question he had. She was very attentive to him and his needs and honestly was a great, down-to-earth person to talk to. She deserves this nomination on many different levels. She was amazing and made our first experience out of three the best.
