I think the mission of Decatur County Hospital was written after watching Deb Silver care for others. She provides quality, compassionate, accessible health care with a personal touch and respect to all those she comes in contact with. Her most significant contributions to our facility is her knowledge and attitude. She is very positive and proactive in all she does. She has a wonderful outlook when dealing with her patients, their families, our doctors, and her co-workers.


She is a wonderful mentor to all nurses and especially to me. She is kind and compassionate when dealing with everyone. She is an amazing, beautiful nurse.
