On the day of the St. Patrick's Day parade, a nurse was called in for an emergency case. She tried every which way to get to Mercy, even enlisting the help of the police, with no success. She was able to reach Deb, who was at a Penguins hockey game and left the game to come in and help start the emergency procedure.
Deb also initiates awareness and planning for GI Nurses Day, faithfully every year! She is an example of a great nurse and an inspiration to her patients and co-workers!
