Debbie Carden, RN

Due to being in chemotherapy, I have had to receive blood transfusions at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. I have been fortunate to have Debbie Carden as the nurse in charge both times. She made me feel comfortable and at ease during the process. Debbie was very professional and competent in performing the steps necessary to make sure I had the correct blood types. She was able to access my port effectively and remove the line when the transfusion was complete. She is certainly an asset to SSH, and I wanted to make my appreciation known. I was blessed to be under her care as I navigate this journey through cancer treatment. It was not that I was shown “extraordinary care”, but I was shown “excellent care” at the hands of a well-trained, experienced nurse with a heart for those with medical needs.
