I was born with a bladder disease, I have interstitial cystitis, I have had many hospital stays and surgeries and ER visits and never have I had a nurse as caring and compassionate as Debbie. I have to cath myself sometimes to void, I was unable to void this day and had surgery two days prior to this ER visit. I was in an immense amount of pain, crying, Debbie held me, prayed for me while I was sitting there attempting to void. Debbie helped me and prayed while I was crying from bladder spasms. She will never know how much that helped me that day. Even as a small child having these same problems, not one nurse held me and just let me cry. But Debbie knew in that moment that what I needed. She was awesome.
