During the challenging times of COVID-19, Debbie consistently chose to stay with her patients rather than heading home after her shift, exemplifying her deep commitment to patient care. One remarkable story took place during a hurricane,  when her hospital arranged for her to sleep in a cot so she could remain on site and continue caring for those in need, demonstrating her selfless devotion to her patients, peers, and staff alike.
