I received outstanding, caring attention from Debra while in the ICU. Being on a ventilator and not being able to communicate is very hard, and she was right there trying to understand me or calm me down. She treated me with respect and dignity with everything she did. She also let me know exactly what she was doing even though I couldn't talk. I have a great respect for ICU nurses; it is a very difficult and stressful job caring for the critically ill.
