This student has been front-row with a smile since day 1! Her kindness and consideration, as well as her enthusiasm for others, students, faculty, and especially patients, do not go unnoticed in the classroom or at the bedside. Despite any personal adversities she has faced, the smile never faltered, and it only became more and more apparent that she cares a tremendous amount for those under her care. After facing some trials this year, Ms. Debbie Cantu has shown tremendous resilience and has maintained her softness, which translates to the care she gives to all of her patients. With the knowledge and resilience she possesses, she has shown brightly and has been recognized by patients for her kindness and endless compassion. The faculty is endlessly proud.
