Debbie McCartney, ADN, RN

Mom, who is 95, was in the ER with a lot of pain. Mom had been doctoring with a bum leg for about three months, and that morning she fell with the leg not holding her up. She was admitted into the hospital and taken to the second floor. Debbie was the first nurse we met. She came in and asked Mom how she was. Debbie could see the pain in Mom’s face and put her arm around Mom. Mom dropped her head to Debbie's shoulder, and Debbie put her head down on Mom’s to comfort her. Talking softly to her and trying to soothe her. She is truly a compassionate, caring nurse, one anyone would love to have. I want to thank Debbie for being such a genuine, caring person full of compassion and concern. Truly an excellent nurse!
