Debbie went to assist another nurse to draw blood on a patient. The patient was explaining that she has been having lots of pain, not sleeping well, and was just miserable. Debbie took a few extra minutes to listen to the patient's concerns as she rubbed her back, but she was also very compassionate to the pain the patient was experiencing. Debbie proceeded to rub the patient's back and the patient was able to relax and find a comfortable position to get a decent nights rest. Thank You Debbie!
