Debbie Ridgley, RN, BSN, CHPN

Debbie has established herself in our community as representing the “gold standard” of nursing. She has done this by providing loving, knowledgeable care to not only our patients, but to their families and caregivers. She is attentive to the physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental needs of her patients and I always consider myself lucky to follow up on her patients. She thinks outside the box and collaborates with the Hospice team. Communication is impeccable, vast knowledge is an amazing asset and her calm and confident presence is a gift to patients and co-workers alike. She definitely fits the description of an Extraordinary Nurse.

Debbie was the kindest, sweetest most caring nurse who cared for my dad. She went out of her way to take sole responsibility for caring for my dad as he was near her home. She was always available and would do anything our caregivers asked her to help with. She was so compassionate and kind, but also spoke the truth and kept us informed of all his health concerns. We will miss seeing her.
