Debbie was caring for a patient suffering from a late term fetal demise. This was not the patient's first miscarriage, but was the farthest that she had carried. The couple was distraught. Debbie comforted and consoled the couple and with the help of OR nurse, Mary "Edy" Meeks, she set up a memory box for them which included the tiny footprint of their child. They were very grateful for this touching remembrance.
