Our family would like to recognize an amazing nurse, Deborah Fullgraf, for her care of our critically ill brother. Our brother suffered a severe heart attack one week ago and is on life support. While there have been wonderful nurses who have cared for him this week, Deborah stands out not only for the non-stop work and support and attention she has given to all my brother's life support machines but also for the kindness and support she has given our family.
Deborah addresses any of our questions about our brother's care and she is so gentle and warm while caring for him. Yesterday, she even provided a family member with a pillow and blanket, knowing how tired that family member was. Every nurse, doctor, and specialist that we have interacted with has been outstanding, but we especially want to recognize Deborah's exceptional warmth, care, and clear understanding of what families go through in situations like this. Her gentle kindness has helped us navigate through this most trying of times.
