Debbie is a role model. Always demonstrating her ability to adapt to anything thrown her way with positive energy that inspires all around her. Debbie does not sacrifice safety for ease. When we met one of the biggest discomforts during the COVID Pandemic, Debbie was a beacon of light in those tough times. She eased our fears, spoke to us with humanity, and stood by our sides. Her heart inspired the OR to volunteer to help wherever we could. She assured us we can help since many of us have not participated in that level of care in years, if ever. Debbie wants us all to succeed and be happy where we are every day, she sees us as a family. A coworker from SDS, that in December 2021, PACU had been holding patients for hours waiting for inpatient beds. Deb stayed and supported him and another nurse while they took care of our patients. She stayed at the bedside and helped calm our patients after a long day in PACU. She is an amazing nurse and person.
