I came to Clara Maass for PATs regarding scheduled hernia surgery. I am a large woman who has great difficulty walking without assistance and use a quad cane. After a phone conversation with 2 employees, I was directed to Deborah Moloughney, nurse manager. After explaining my situation, she agreed to meet me at the ambulatory entrance with a large wheelchair. She was so understanding of my situation, she took me and my sister to the admitting office where all the paperwork was completed. As my sister completed some paperwork, Deborah and I completed my medical history. Upon completion, she wheeled me for my bloodwork. Before Ms. Moloughney departed, she advised me that she would come in early on the day of my surgery to meet me at the car door with a wheelchair. I was so relieved to know that she would be there for me and I did not need to stress out as to how I was going to get from the car into surgery. I am ever so grateful for Deborah making this experience a less stressful one. Thank you very much, Deborah.
