Debbie is an Extraordinary Nurse on every shift she works. She has an immense eye for detail- a trait necessary for working NICU. She genuinely cares for her patients and their parents. While it may seem gross, it was her attention to detail that caught a problem that could've been much bigger. When she changed my son's diaper, she make sure to look closely and noticed minute drops of blood in his stool. She immediately took steps needed to identify and treat the issue. She is this way every minute, every assessment, every shift. She cares for the babies as if they're her own.
