Deborah Race, MSN, RN

Deborah Race is the recipient of the First Annual Novice DAISY Faculty Award at Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing. She received multiple nominations by her peers for this award. She has taken on a leadership role at the junior level. She is also a true innovator in nursing education. When you walk by her classroom it is obvious that the students are actively engaged. She encourages the students to use their creativity for learning in the classroom and she has embraced the use of simulation in her course. She holds the students to high standards but is always there to assist them. Deborah is a phenomenal actress for the simulation center and can stay in character regardless of student or faculty response. She has an amazing ability to become and portray a realistic patient with Alzheimer's Disease!
