She has leadership skills in nursing and her ability to evolve and adapt to constant changes in her unit. The department where she works is always busy, and the history of staff turnover is high. Still, once she became the nursing unit manager, staff and patients liked her leadership, and the nominator acknowledged the compassion she is providing to the patients, their families, and her team.
As a nurse leader, she has less staff turnover, and for the NDNQI RN survey for the last two years, she is in the Top 10 list among all nursing unit managers. She provides long-term mentorship and coaching to all her staff. She celebrates success, cultivates a positive work environment, and inspires her team to be their best.
