Deborah was my night nurse. Her compassion, empathy, and care of her patients comes naturally. She not only listens to her patient's concerns, but she also hears and responds to them. She is kind, reassuring, she loves her job and it showed by the way she treated me. She is also very patient. I was blessed to have her as one of my nurses during my recent stay at your hospital. We were talking the last night she was on shift and she smiled and said, "I still can't believe I get paid for doing this" I feel that she should receive recognition for her devotion to her patients and their care. I knew as soon as Deborah started her shift that I had nothing to fear.
