She talked to him about any and everything, ensuring he was comfortable and not embarrassed.
Deb has taken care of my sister and brother-in-law.

My brother-in-law has been in and out of the ED and Surgical area. Deb's care has made him feel safe in both areas. In the ED, he had C-DIFF. She made sure his bed was clean, medications given, and treatment completed. This is all during multiple hold patients and a full ED.

She never compromised his privacy and no matter how busy, she made sure he was cleaned up after every "accident". She never blinked an eye or complained. He wanted to stay in the ED when they got him a bed because the care was so good.

She talked to him about any and everything, ensuring he was comfortable and not embarrassed.

May times after his discharge she would check on how he was doing. If he was back at the hospital for labs or testing and she saw him, she would stop and talk.

Every nurse should care for patients like this. She works her shifts plus extra shifts because she cannot compromise patient care. She cannot let her "less experienced" coworkers struggle. She works extra, odd shifts, part of shifts, comes early, stays late and never complains. She is a true angel!
