Deb, you have been such a blessing to work with. Your leadership doesn't go unnoticed by all of us you have mentored. You are always willing to explain things, show us new things and very encouraging when we don't get something right away. You are like the coach that everyone wants in high school - caring - on and off the unit. I am beyond grateful for starting on the night shift. You're an inspiration!

Deb is regularly recognized by patients during patient rounding and via Press Ganey comments for being a nurse who goes above and beyond for her patients. Giving back rubs, explaining to them their plan of care, making a connection. Deb is always found in her patient's rooms chatting with them next to their beds. If you ask her to name something about a patient, she knows everything about them. She is a shining star of what it means to be a team player, servant leader and compassionate nurse.
