“She paid such close attention to my son that I believe she saved his life. My son came in with splenomegaly and a possible rupture. He went to ICU for observation, thought he was OK, so they moved him to 4-East. ‘That next day was the worst day of my life,’ said my son. ‘I was in pain and could not rest at all. My nurse that day was Debby. She kept checking on me, calling doctors, getting blood drawn, and got me to surgery that afternoon as my spleen had ruptured.’”
