I have had multiple stays at Encore Arkansas Heart Hospital in the past year. So many nurses have made an impact on my care and my heart. Deb goes to the very heart of my healing. I was in the ICU after another surgery and an almost-crash. I had the worst day and was looking at an awful night. Deb took care of me every step of the way and never made me feel like a job. She cleaned me and tenderly cared for me like only my mother ever had. She kept my spirits up and gave me strength when I felt like I had none left. The skill of nursing can be taught. The art of caring for others comes from love. To do both and show up day after day and give the same care to patient after patient is a gift from God. I will always be thankful for the care I received from all of the staff at Encore during each visit. I will carry the grace that Deb shared with me into my everyday life and try to pay it forward. She truly deserves the most beautiful DAISY.
