Deb was instrumental in helping roll out a new pain management program for our post-op breast cancer patients. When presented with the idea of this new program she led the way in engagement and ownership of this new program. The impact has really been felt in the pre-op area. Without Deb the process would have not gone as smoothly as it did. Her past experience as an OR nurse made her familiar with assisting physicians with procedures. She was able to transfer her knowledge to the rest of the team allowing them all to have consistent knowledge. Throughout the training of staff, Deb provided mentoring and empathy with her co-workers. Her knowledge and compassion has provided a positive experience for the patients and the rest of the team.

Deb has helped the whole team understand the importance of accepting change and new challenges, especially when it comes to improving patient care and outcomes.
