Debra has been my Home Care Nurse through BayCare for several months. The day we met I had fallen shortly before she arrived. I did not lose consciousness but I was unable to get up by myself. The doorbell rang and then there was knocking but there was nothing I could do. Then the phone rang and I could hear Debra's voice on the answering machine. She was here for our first visit and she was not leaving until she talked to me. I was finally able to knock the phone to the floor and call her back. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to get her into the house. The "ah ha" moment was when I remembered the outside garage door code. And there was my nurse! We talked for a while and then she helped me to my feet. I'm not sure how long I would have been on the floor if not for her determination. Since then we have enjoyed both professional and pleasant check-ups. She makes appointments in advance and always arrives on time. She does her job but is always available to listen for a few minutes and try to answer my health questions. She follows up with her home office on scheduling and PT care. She has made me feel safe and well cared for during some difficult days. The large senior population in Pasco would appreciate more mature, responsible, caring home health care the way Debra provides it!
