During my mother's hospitalization, Debra provided care that went far beyond clinical excellence. I observed her speak to my mother with extraordinary kindness, patience, dignity, and grace during a moment that can be very vulnerable for any patient.
Even while assisting my mother with her bedside commode, Debra maintained warmth, respect, and calm reassurance. It was clear that she saw my mother as a whole person, not just a patient.
