Debra Pellitteri, RN

When I felt like I was about to give up on life, I thought Debra would be just another nurse – but she proved me completely wrong. Debra cared for me with the warmth and compassion of a mother caring for her child. Debra made me feel safe, seen, and at home during one of the hardest times in my life. There were days when I couldn’t even bring myself to eat, but Debra never gave up on me. Debra went above and beyond to encourage me, gently pushing me forward when I had no strength left. When I failed my initial TOV, instead of showing frustration, Debra motivated me to keep trying and reassured me that setbacks didn’t define my progress. What made Debra stand out the most was her empathy. Debra brought a sense of calm into the room that I didn’t think was possible in a hospital setting. Because of Debra, I found hope again. I truly believe that if our paths had not crossed, I might’ve lost that hope. Thank you, Debra, for your exceptional care and compassion. Because of you, I am in a better place today.
