...I was suffering from severe post-partum depression. I could not get in with a psychologist for eight weeks. I was extremely frightened and scared that no one could help me. Deb was my nurse that day as I had a follow-up appointment after a vein procedure. That day I told everyone that I encountered about what I was going through, hoping some one could help me. Everyone was nice and caring towards me but Deb went above and beyond her duties. In addition to being caring and compassionate that day, Deb researched what other supports were available. At my next appointment, a week later, she gave me the name of a nurse I could call. I was so touched that she had really listened to my concerns and found me help even though it was completely unrelated to the problem she was treating me for. Now over a year later, I still frequently think of Deb and how thankful I am that she went above all expectations to find me the help I needed.
