My dad was a patient on the floor where Debbie worked. He was in a lot of pain and very confused. Debbie was his nurse for many of the days that he was there. She always responded to his calls quickly. She was cheerful and willing to help even when he wasn't the easiest patient to deal with. Debbie messaged the doctor promptly about any questions we had about medication or tests and she followed up with the doctor's responses as quickly as she could. She worked hard to find a reclining chair to help my dad be more comfortable even when others said that none were available. I wasn't able to be with my dad all day, every day, and I felt comfort in knowing nurses like Debbie were there to happily take care of him when he needed it most.
